Blue Angel now also for waterproof skirting boards

‘Good for me. Good for the environment.’

As the first waterproof skirting board, SELITSTYLE skirting boards from SELIT Dämmtechnik GmbH have been awarded the Blue Angel as a particularly healthy living product. The award proves that the skirting boards are low in emissions, have a low pollutant content and can be used in the living environment without risk to health. For more sustainability, the skirting board is manufactured in a resource-saving manner with 100% renewable energy from up to 80% recycled material. It is completely recyclable. It is therefore worth paying attention to the manufacturing conditions and quality when buying skirting boards. This is good for people and the environment.

‘We are very pleased to receive this recognition of our long-standing commitment to protecting the environment and reducing emissions. Many SELIT products from our underlay range have already been awarded the Blue Angel. The fact that our waterproof skirting boards can now also bear this well-known environmental label underlines SELIT’s strategy of offering healthy, sustainably produced and safe products,’ says Lydia Bober, Head of Marketing and PR at SELIT, on the occasion of the official presentation by Nicole Markiton and Henning Scholtz, representatives of the environmental label division of RAL GmbH, the awarding body of the Blue Angel, on 31 October 2019 in Bonn. The innovative company is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of underlay products for floating wood flooring, laminate and vinyl flooring. By using materials and substances that are less harmful to the environment, SELIT not only creates a room climate for well-being, but also sets a clear example for healthy living.
