The SELIT Dämmtechnik GmbH story began in 1948 with the production of hollow block bricks. Nowadays, the third-generation family company is a market and innovation leader. This is the result of many milestones, some of which you can read about here.
With the SELIT-Eco series, SELIT is the first to introduce an eco range made from 60% bio-based and recycled raw materials. The proportion of primary raw materials in the Eco range has been more than halved and the CO2 footprint reduced by 20%.

Sustainable and environmentally conscious behaviour in production and administration are important factors in SELIT’s corporate development. The installation of a photovoltaic system with a system size of 730 kWp on the roof of the central warehouse at the Erbes-Büdesheim site is a further step by the company towards energy-efficient and sustainable production.
SELITSTYLE® is the first skirting to be awarded the Blue Angel as a particularly environmentally friendly product.
SELIT includes extruded, SELITSTYLE® waterproof skirtings in its product portfolio.
The company presents its new logo. The modification, which is only minor, stands for reliability and tradition and ensures brand recognition. A new central warehouse provides space for 36,000 pallet bays.

In order to systematically increase energy efficiency, the ISO 50001 energy management system is introduced.
The 6th extrusion line and thus the 2nd line at the Plattsburgh site in North America is commissioned. In addition, SELIT becomes a member of the Multilayer Modular Flooring Association (MMFA) and celebrates its debut on television with the documentary series “Zuhause im Glück“.
