In order to meet this goal time and again, we have a technical centre with a test facility and a unique testing and development laboratory for mechanics, acoustics and building material testing at the company site in Erbes-Büdesheim. This enables us to create solutions that people love on a long-term basis thanks to the close partnership between research, development and application technology.

2019
SELITSTYLE® skirtings
To help you enjoy your flooring, SELIT is adding a new product type to its range with the waterproof SELITSTYLE® skirting. Developed in collaboration with the strategic partner NMC, the skirtings are made exclusively from 100 % polystyrene and with renewable energy. They are free from PVC, plasticisers and formaldehyde. In order to create an individual decorative style, the skirtings feature digital printing.
Product development
Many of our innovative new products are created in our in-house SELIT laboratory, which allows us to fully trace the development of a product within the company and to demonstrate our high standards in terms of quality and performance right from the development stage.
Quality assurance
Our customers can always rely on the high quality of our products thanks to an ISO-certified QM system and a two-stage product quality assurance system.
Standardisation and association work
SELIT is active in various technical committees in the field of flooring and acoustics and directs a range of working groups and project groups. This means that new findings from the association work can be directly implemented in standardisation. Conversely, new findings from standardisation flow directly into our product development.
