With the introduction of an energy management system according to DIN EN ISO 50001, SELIT ensured the efficient use of energy resources in production and administration at an early stage. Whether in the field of heat recovery for heating the production halls, energy-efficient LED hall lighting, outdoor cooling systems or energy-efficient roof and facade renovations, SELIT is already setting standards in the sustainable use of resources now. We place great value on the involvement of all employees because teamwork also ensures the best results in terms of sustainability.
At our site in Erbes-Büdesheim, we manufacture our products using the latest extrusion technology. Thanks to a sophisticated recycling system, all foam waste from production is recycled fully automatically and returned to the production process as regranulate. We installed a state-of-the-art recycling plant for this in 2009.
The PEFC® (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) was established to protect forests all over the world from overexploitation and destruction. The PEFC® seal stands for exemplary wood and paper management and documents that the product in question comes from responsibly managed forests. In 2023, our company obtained certification according to the PEFC® guidelines.
