Marco Seitner is leaving SELIT

Marco Seitner, managing director of SELIT Dämmtechnik GmbH, will leave the company on 30 June 2022. As the grandson of the company’s founder, he has been connected to the company from an early age. For 21 years, he was responsible for the direction and growth of the company as managing director and contributed significantly to the current success of SELIT Dämmtechnik GmbH.
He has developed SELIT Dämmtechnik GmbH into an internationally successful company and driven its expansion in Europe and North America. SELIT is now the market leader in the underlay sector in both markets – in Retail as well as in the flooring industry. The major milestones that Marco Seitner has played a decisive role in initiating and driving forward include the entry into the flooring industry/direct lamination sector in 2003, the internationalisation of the DIY business from 2005, and the founding of the independent SELIT North America, Inc. in 2010. The latter currently has two production sites. In the area of product development, Marco Seitner is responsible for the development of the SELITBLOC vinyl underlays and the entry into XPO production in 2019.
Under Marco Seitner’s leadership, the number of employees at SELIT Dämmtechnik GmbH has steadily increased and sales have increased more than eightfold. His career has been characterised by a passion for a perfectly functioning flooring system, an innovative spirit and the courage to break new ground.
Marco Seitner is leaving the company at his own request in order to devote more time to the rapidly growing US business of SELIT North America, Inc. Marco Seitner will remain connected to the company through the partnership between the two companies, which he moderates and brings to life.
