Functional heating

With functional heating, a hot water underfloor heating system is heated up to check that it is free from any defects. The residual moisture in the heated screed must then be determined. The limit values of the floor manufacturer must be observed. Only when these have been achieved, for example by heating the flooring, can the installation of the top floor begin. Functional heating is the responsibility of the heating engineer.
