Change at the top of NMC

After 26 years as CEO of the NMC Group, Hubert Bosten handed over his position to Florent Pouzet in April 2024. As part of a generational change in the entire group, Pouzet comes with extensive experience from the glass and building materials giant Saint-Gobain, opening a new chapter for the international group, which specializes in the field of synthetic foams.

New face at the head of NMC

The 46-year-old Frenchman, who took over the management of NMC on April 2 this year, was previously General Manager of Saint-Gobain in Denmark, a group he had been part of for almost 20 years. Florent Pouzet studied business administration in Paris and worked for three years at Ernst & Young and then at Saint-Gobain, where he spent most of his career. During this time, he held various management positions in four countries, namely Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Denmark. Pouzet brings extensive experience in change management, proven success in business development and more than 20 years of experience in a multicultural environment to the NMC Group. “I have the ambition to continue the great work of the last years and write the next chapter for NMC,” he explained at his official introduction in April this year.

A historic predecessor

After more than 25 years at the helm of the Group, Hubert Bosten retires with numerous successes that have contributed significantly to NMC’s growth. Under his leadership, NMC grew from 2 to 12 production sites with sales offices in 15 countries and increased its annual turnover from 100 to 350 million euros and the number of employees from 560 to 1700. “Hubert Bosten has built up and led the company extremely successfully. We are very grateful to him, but the time for succession has come,” says Miguel Kohlmann, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NMC and investor, referring to a generational change in the entire group. However, Hubert Bosten will continue to support NMC: he will remain active as a member of the Board of Directors and will be available to his successor as an advisor.

SELIT with management duo

With the change at NMC, Hubert Bosten has also left the SELIT management. In future, the two managing directors Roland Skibbe and Frank Filbir will be solely responsible for SELIT Dämmtechnik GmbH.
