With the TÜV Rheinland certification mark, the SELITPRO® TwinFoam™, SELITAC®, SELITFLEX® and SELITBLOC® series underlays are the first TÜV-tested underlays in the world – an absolute first and proof of the high quality of production and application at SELIT.

TÜV tests quality and safety

The mark of certified quality applies to products that have been tested by TÜV Rheinland and offer three essential properties: quality, functionality and usability.

Is the functionality right? Does the underlay deliver what it promises in terms of technical data and functionality?

Is the product of high quality? Are the specifications of thickness and format correct, for example?

Is the product fit for use, easy to use and install, and does it correspond to the stated installation descriptions and features?

TÜV Rheinland places great emphasis on testing as close to the consumer as possible. The basic requirements are based on consumer wishes and many years of experience in the field of product quality assurance. Another important point: TÜV re-examines all certification criteria annually, thus ensuring consistent, standardised quality that the end user can rely on.

SELIT products shine in all three areas

SELIT products excelled in all three areas and thus received the certification mark as ‘Certified Underlay’. For SELIT, this product certification by TÜV Rheinland is a confirmation of its work in the research, development and production of innovative underlays. In addition to the focus on the handling and installation of the underlays, SELIT always keeps an eye on quality assurance, product safety and sustainability throughout the entire production and development process.

The TÜV certification is a clear sign of high-quality and functional products and thus a clear recommendation to buy.

From now on, the TÜV certification mark will be prominently displayed on the corresponding product inserts. The product packaging and sales aids have also been adapted and the TÜV certification mark added.
